Alexander & The Successors
Yes, time to hack and slash your neighbor for the keys to the empire. Lots of big rugby scrums, er, push of pike battles in this one. What I've done is limit the period from the time of Alexander's invasion of Asia to ROUGHLY 275-270 B.C. That results in a more limited selection of armies since by excluding the Successor kingdoms, I've eliminated all their eastern Mediterranean enemies like the Pontics, Bythnians, etc. Furthermore, I did not always include every enemy of the Successors, mainly Pyrrus'. Why? Because some of the armies are really to "punic" or "hoplite" and those are two themes already covered. Which is why you don't see Syracusan or Late Hoplite; the only way either is competitive is if you use Germans, Spanish, etc and that certainly is NOT historical in this period. Again, the army lists are tentative since things can change over time.
