Bronze Age THEME armies can be found HERE.

The DBA Schedule is greatly expanded and two of the Sunday morning theme games will be using 36" wide boards.   Ask at the NASAMW Desk in the Lampeter which themes will end up using the wide boards.

Note the times of the NASAMW EC and Membership Meeting.

 

The Regular Schedule

GENERAL INFO

Cost for all events will be $5 for NASAMW members, $10 for the first event for non-members and $5 for each additional event unless under 18 years of age for DBA events, then cost is $5.   Please do NOT send registration monies to HMGS-East.  Just pay at the NASAMW registration table in the Lampeter Room.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS.  The EC will meet at 8:00am Friday 26 July for 30 minutes.  Location is yet to be determined but will be posted at the NASAMW registration table in the Lampeter.  The Membership Meeting will be held at 8:00am Saturday 27 July for 30 minutes in the Lampeter Room (where we play).

  

DBM

Terrain must be a reasonably accurate representation and each game must have a ground cloth.  Lists to come only from the latest DBM army list books, 2 versions of one list from one year and region. 

“Last Chance” Mini (15mm & 25mm), 1 player, 200 pt lists, 2 versions in 1 year.  Table size is 4'x30" in 15mm, 6x4 in 25mm.  See Spearpoint or www.nasamw.org for specific details on armies and format.  Top finishers qualify for this year’s NICT or can defer until next year.

 Bronze Age Theme (15mm & 25mm), 1 player, 400 pt list in 15mm, 350 pt list in 25mm.  Table size is is 6x4 in 15mm, 8x5 in 25mm.  See Spearpoint or www.nasamw.org for specific details on allowable armies.

WARRIOR

Fast Warrior Bronze Age Theme (15mm), 1 player, Fast Warrior army lists 1-36.  Preset terrain.

 

DBA

Rules will be DBA 2.0.  Terrain is available but players may bring their own.  Special prizes for best terrain and army in DBA Period events and the Big Battle Doubles.  Go to www.nasamw.org for details on terrain restrictions and rules.

Big Battle Doubles, “Tony Bath Memorial Cup”: 15mm, any army with any allies (allowed to that army).  12 team limit.

Trojan War 25mm Big Scenario.  8-10 players, NOT a tournament.  All armies, terrain provided.

Midnite Madness:  A single elimination tournament in 15mm with any army allowed.

25mm DBA Open: Any army allowed.  Table size will be 4x4.

Teen Tournament: Open to anyone aged 21 or under.  Loaner armies available.  No prior experience needed.  We will teach new players.

Wide Board Varianet Tournament.  15mm, any army, round robin play on 36” boards.

Duplicate Tournament, 11th Annual “Dick Bryant Classic”.  All armies, terrain, provided.  For details go to www-personal.umich.edu/~ beattie/bobs.html. One battle to be 25mm Trojan War, the other a wide board, cav army battle.

15mm DBA Periods: Armies grouped into six brackets: Biblical, GreekClassical, Roman Classical, Dark Age Europe/Middle East/Western Steppes, Medieval Europe/Middle East/Western Steppes, Asia/Eastern Steppes.  Go to www.nasamw.org for details on army brackets.

National Invitational Championship Tournament: By invitation only.  Qualifier list at www.nasamw.org.  Three rounds using own army.  Four winners advance and play with provided 25mm Bronze Age armies in historical matchups with final pair repeating using different armies.

  

ANCIENT/MEDIEVAL WARFARE
